maybe their BIOS is miss configured? (another guess) I mean you always have problem, but having a relationship with X58? I don't know. I am actually surprised by you saying that there is a problem specifically with X58. I have a Gigabyte one, if it is of any help. Maybe some motherboard manufacture has BIOS issues with Windows 10.? (my guess). So I don't know what they are doing to have issues. I just install the latest Nvidia GPU drivers, sound (for my ASUS Xonar sound card), and done. I just install Windows, and Windows finds the drivers for absolutely everything related to the board. I have X58, and I never had a single problem installing Windows 8 and 10 (both not supported). So the only thing I'm wondering is why people with some X58 chipsets had so much trouble with installing Windows 10, did Microsoft end up incorporating Windows 7 driver support into Windows 10 to maintain compatibility after the release of Windows 10? So it's supported in the fact that it has available drivers that work, but not supported in that there are no further updates?
